ACT & SAT Test Prep

We provide both ACT & SAT Test Prep services for students starting at any level of scoring and looking to achieve gains. Our average ACT student gains from initial proctored scoring are typically 3-8 full ACT composite points ( some students gain 9-12 points). Our students typically gain 80-280 SAT points (some students gain 290-480 points with full review). We have helped students achieve gains to their goal at any score level up to the 35-36 ACT(36 perfect score) range and up to 1590 SAT (1600 perfect score) range on their official tests.

Admissions Essay Advising

We provide college admissions essay guidance from helping students in the starting stages with their essay prompts to providing guidance for editing at any stage in the essay writing process. Our Academic expert has 15 years experience in essay composition and editing.

Technique

Success in taking the ACT/SAT is not purely based on content knowledge but, in fact, is also 50% about using specific strategies and pacing for each area of the exam. At PowerPrep Tutors, we focus on the strategies that each student needs for their review and fine-tune them for every individual to help them achieve their highest gains. Our sessions fully encompass student practice-work review, in-session pacing practice, full content review, and strategy guidance for each area of the exam.

Our Goal

Our goal is for every student to have the opportunity to reach their highest gains with not only the strategy practice and tips from our prep, but also from the hard work they have put into their review. Outside of student sessions, we spend time developing a specific weekly lesson plan to help each student with their continued improvement based on individual results each week.
